Yahya Saree, the spokesman for the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen, proudly announced in a statement published on his social media account that they "killed and injured dozens of people" in attacks targeting Saudi Arabia. Saree's statement, made under the name of "the armed forces of our forces," once again laid bare the open satisfaction derived from Muslims killing one another.

The Houthis, who introduced sectarian strife into Yemen where people lived in peace and harmony, carried out terrorist acts against the legitimate state, and aimed to establish a Shia state in the country, are in fact a terrorist organization. This reality is clearly revealed in their latest statement.

The Houthi spokesman claimed that they carried out four "qualified operations" in the last 24 hours using ballistic and cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. These included targeting King Khalid Airport in Riyadh in three phases and completely shutting it down, hitting King Fahd Airport in Dammam, and causing fires at Aramco's Shedgum gas facility and Tanajib oil facility. He also stated that they attacked "Saudi enemy buildups" in the Ras al-Ara and al-Sakiya regions with six ballistic missiles and two drones, resulting in "dozens of people being killed and injured."

Although Saree justified the attacks as a retaliation against Saudi airstrikes on Yemen, the tone in his statement presents the destruction inflicted on civilian infrastructure and Muslim lives as a success. As is known, Houthi attacks have recently caused dozens of fatalities and hundreds of injuries at Riyadh Airport. Among the dead are Saudi citizens as well as citizens of Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, and other Muslim countries. The Houthi militias state that they carried out these attacks "with the help of Allah," practically turning the killed Muslims into a declaration of victory.

In the statement, Houthi officials threatened international companies, experts, and passengers to stay away from Saudi airports, declaring all Saudi airspace outside Mecca and Medina as "unsafe." This attitude also risks the travel of Muslims to and from the holy lands.

The fact that Houthi militias openly announce this without hesitation to shed Muslim blood reveals once again how insincere the group's claimed "resistance" rhetoric is. The fact that Saudi Arabia is a Muslim country and that civilian targets are chosen in the attacks completely refutes the Houthi propaganda's claim of "protecting Muslims."
